Day 104. Gridlocked

Had a thousand and one things to achieve today, but kept going back to doing just a couple of them that were more fun. Felt a bit gridlocked with the to do list, so 365 took a back seat. iPhone to the rescue.

Birthday boy on day 103

Husband’s birthday today, so no time to spend on images. Cakes to bake and work still to do (unfortunately). We did manage to squeeze in time for a lovely meal out (back to the glorious Deeson’s in Canterbury again). Upon return, I helped nephew continue working on his portfolio for his ‘A’ level, and thought, [...]

Enforced Chill on day 102

Rather hectic few days, so being forced to take time out without internet or camera in front of the TV. Hard life.

Day 101: Ruby

An amazing day today as we celebrated my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We had the whole family at our place to celebrate, so with cooking dinner and baking puddings, everything was far too hectic to have time to take a 365, so I thought I’d share the iPhone images of the puddings I made. A [...]

100! Made it this far

Day out with the family, then thought I ought to try and make an effort, given it was day 100. Went to catch a sunset that looked promising and turned out to be disappointing. Still, had a lovely day out with the family and think I made a couple of OK images out of what [...]

Day 99 – should have been an ice cream with a flake …

… but instead, you get to see Grandad towing the kids around the back garden. Also following on from all the Digital Economy Bill stuff, today I was pointed in the direction of this rather natty website voterpower.org.uk that lets you see how much punch your vote can bring, depending on how safe your local [...]

Poorly again. Day 98

Feeling rough today. Glands up in the back of my neck, so taking comfort in Easter goodies.

All about the animals on day 97

Apologies, there are a lot of images, I had a day out with Wild Arena today at Port Lympne in Kent and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have managed to cut back from 512 images to these. I am putting more up on flickr later this week, but wanted to get my favourites up here today.

Clause 43 is gone from the Digital Economy Bill

A victory. Huge congratulations to all those involved in getting this ridiculous clause ejected from the Bill. Aside from the rest of the damage that the bill will do, it was good to see that following Jeremy Hunt’s statement yesterday that the Conservatives would not support Clause 43, they stuck with it and ensured it’s [...]

Digital Economy Bill 2nd Reading on day 96

Snowed under with work today and too addicted to watching the progress of the Digital Economy Bill through the commons means no 365 image, except for this one from my iPhone. Watching the #debill live on BBC Parliament has horrified me. I am not sure what I thought went on in the Commons, but seeing [...]
