Day out with the family at Howletts for day 79
I love the days when I can easily incorporate my life and 365. No end of day panic, just images of what has been my day. Doesn’t make for planned shots or the lighting I would like (unless the sun plays ball – which it didn’t today), but it does make the shooting more relaxed. For the record I do have a son, but if I am not cuddling him at the moment, then it means he is hanging onto my legs. So, he doesn’t get to appear in many images, as I don’t particularly like a downward view of my legs. Thankfully daughter is more than happy to fill in for him.
The images of the gorgeous baby gorilla were taken through grid enclosure bars, hence the striping. It was lovely to watch the mother find a little nook in the enclosure, under a low shelf, to be able to feed in peace. It was also reassuring to see that the gorilla baby fiddled around as much as my babies when it came to actually getting round to feeding!
