Mothers Day 73 of 365
Well, it is that day of the year again in the UK. The day for a lie-in, breakfast of choice, Sunday Roast (with stunning yorkshire puddings the husband created), a walk in the sunshine, card and gifts. My gift was a rather non traditional, tickets to see Edward Tufte, not somethingthat makes a great photo.
I am not a fan of bouquets of flowers, preferring the planted variety that keep on living after the event, but did let my daughter choose a bunch of 6 Gerberas to give to her Grandma. So these, along with some chocolates we had kicking around the house were to be the subject of today’s 365. It only seemed right. By the way, I did balance up the 6 cut flowers with 3 plants as gifts for my mum.
Some of the images have been played with in Lightroom significantly. I cannot resist playing with flower images. Like to give them punch!
