A London Adventure for Day 69
A much needed day off, to recover, relax and generally just enjoy myself. Time spent with a great friend is a really good healer and I came back yesterday night feeling tired, but refreshed. The plan to gallery, shop and wine was a success, although the shopping was somewhat lack lustre and the wine merely social. We both thoroughly enjoyed the Positive View exhibition at Somerset House and the freedom to just walk around London.. We walked from Victoria, to Westminster, along Embankment to Somerset House. From there we mooched via the Strand to Covent Garden and then eventually made our way from there to Regent Street via Trafalgar Square and Picadilly, ending the day at Selfridges with a lovely cup of tea and a sandwich. I took considerably more images than I am putting in my 365, mainly because the others are landmarks silhouettes that I have ready for a new graphic piece I have floating around my mind. More on that another day. For now, here are staircases and lights, plus the Battle of Britain Memorial as I hadn’t seen it before and thought it was rather impressive.

Love the Liberty staircase, the Somerset House pic you turned upside down freaked me a little
